MineSpec Hire offers comprehensive specialised equipment hire with a focus on safe underground vehicles for mining and associated industries. Delivery of a new website was an important component in the MineSpec Hire branding. When the company asked Flametree Creative to assist with their branding projects the design, development and launch of a fresh website was an essential element of the deliverables required.. They wanted to have a fully functioning website that provided information about their products and services. The main goal of the website was to promote the range of equipment on offer.
The Brief
MineSpec Hire required a website that aligned visually with their brand, professional and trustworthy, and conveying a sense of safety and security.
We started the project by planning the website structure. This involved designing the user journey as well as structuring the information architecture. This is a crucial stage in website development as it dictates all the steps after it. We worked side by side with our client to ensure that we had all the structure and information placed at the right page. Then we designed the websites to look visually engaging.
One of the challenges of this website was to explain the specifications of the rental vehicles. It required us to convey technical information in a lucid and conveniently accessible manner across written and visual content. To help with this we built an interactive image that users can hover over to find important information about each part of the vehicle. This allows viewers to easily access and understand the key features.
The result is an easy-to-use website offering a straightforward and satisfying user experience, clearly presenting and underlining MineSpec's offerings and credentials.
