Flametree was recently approached by Perth- and Busselton-based client Aspect Accountants to build a fresh and engaging new website that more accurately represented their current brand.
We started the project by planning the website structure in consultation with the team from Aspect Accountants. This involved designing the user journey as well as structuring the information architecture around our keyword research to optimise the site for SEO. This is a crucial stage in website development as it dictates all the steps to follow. We worked side by side with our client to ensure that the content was supplied in an organised and structured manner following the web plan. We then designed the website to look visually engaging around this structure.
The Brief
The site was designed to look clean and professional and a photo-shoot was organised to provide relevant up-to-date images of the business. This enabled us to present a people-focused picture of the business that felt more personal and trustworthy to potential clients. As a boutique accounting firm, Aspect work closely with the clients to achieve the best outcomes for them, and it was critical that this was communicated through the feel of the website.
On a very tight deadline we were able to build an easy-to-use website offering a straightforward and satisfying user experience. This was all done on the cost-effective Squarespace platform allowing the client easy access and making the process of updating the website simple. As regularly updated websites are ranked higher in search engine results, this choice of platform was critical to the long-term success of the project. Aspect are now regularly updating the site’s contents.
