Matso's Brewery Packaging
From humble beginnings Matso's iconic Broome microbrewery and its unique beverages grew in stature until the owners decided to get some of their local favourites into bottles. We were approached to create a set of brands that captured the feel and flavour of Broome's colourful and cosmopolitan past, whilst also paying homage to the brewery's unique styles. We set about creating a fusion of the pearling port's Aussie-Japanese heritage to build the visual set. This stood apart from all other brands on the bottle shop shelves.
Matso's has grown to become a well known brand now available nationally - not bad for a mob from the back streets of Broome.
The Brief
Flametree have created a complete range of packaging solutions designed to optimise sales and shelf presence with a keen sense of style relevant to the Matso's market.
Each product has its own distinct personality whilst still being clearly recognisable as a member of the Matso's family. Technical and economic factors within the packaging structure have also been addressed to optimise the efficiency of the product at each level.

Last year local cottage distillers Billy Stitch asked us to help them develop their brand and apply it to their bottle packaging. At the time they were husband and wife team operating a home distillery selling products in make-shift bottles at local markets. The ultimate goal was to grow the brand through increased recognition, distribution and commercial sales.
Solvit Group Packaging
Solvit Group provides biodegradable, non-marine pollutant solutions to the marine, defence, mining, aviation, industrial and government sectors. Our role with this project was to provide Solvit with a range of bottle labels, as well as developing a fitting brand identity for a company who diversifies their product range across a number of sectors.
